Tyre major Michelin has launched the new LTX Force an SUV tyre series in India. The tyre manufacturer has highlighted top qualities of the tyre being durability, superior road grip and high traction in off-road conditions. With the introduction of this new range of tyres the company aims at further strengthening their portfolio for the Indian market. The Michelin LTX Force is available across India at Michelin premium dealerships - Michelin Priority Partners, TYREPLUS network and Michelin retailers.
Michelin's LTX Force has incorporated a Compact Tread technology which uses two seemingly contradictory performances -- durability and grip. Drawing inspiration from endurance races, the tread pattern provides more contact area using higher tread blocks meant to provide durability and traction. The company has claimed that the LTX Force will last 35pc more than its main competitors in the segment and ensures better control during hydroplaning. Michelin has also stated that the LTX Force has a braking distance 2 meters shorter than its average rival under wet surface conditions.
