Market leader Maruti Suzuki domestic sales for July 2019 has plunged by more than 36 per cent with total units sold at 96,478 compared to 152,427 units recorded in July 2018. As for the first quarter (April-July) of the current fiscal 2019-20, domestic sales dipped by 24.8 per cent to 459,895 from 611,394 in the corresponding period last year.
Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of 109,264 units in July 2019. This includes 98,210 units in domestic market, 1,796 units of domestic OEM sales and 9,258 units of exports.
