Hero
Electric, manufacturers of electric two- wheelers, unveiled the third chapter
of Super Sikh Run in an event at the capital. Over the years Super Sikh Run has
successfully managed to carry out Half Marathons which has had two very
successful editions in Delhi in year 2016 and 2017. To reignite the spirit of
the Half Marathon and provide an insight, Hero Electric organised a promo run
for the upcoming Super Sikh run.
A
3 Km SSR Promo Run with 'Cyclofit PRO Riders and Runners' for clean air was
also initiated at the Pitampura outlet of Hero Electric to mark the beginning
of the upcoming Super Sikh Run.
The
third edition of Super Sikh Run – a marathon prearranged for all participants
beyond the feeble barriers of caste, creed, religion, sex, race and the challenges
thrown by life, is a run for humanity. The half marathon to be held on December
9 from New Delhi’s RakabGanj Gurudwara, will be led by the Super Squad – group
of extraordinary men and women who have paid back life in its very same coins.
Such as Major DP Singh - an ex-army man who lost almost half of his body to a
mortar explosion during combat at the LOC and now India’s First Blade Runner or
Capt. Shalini Singh – Mrs. India Queen of Substance 2017 and Ms. Jinnie Gogia
Chugh – Gold medalist at Commonwealth power lifting Championship 2017 and one
of India’s Top 5 women fitness professionals. In its initiative, Hero electric
brings out all such real stories of real heroes along with many more.

at the event, Naveen Munjal, Managing Director of the HERO Eco Group noted “We
are highly elated to join the Super Sikh family. Hero Electric always looks
forward to form a part of such events which help uplift the human spirits. This
run not only stands for its motto but also sends across the message of fitness
among every age category. We as a brand proudly support the ideologies and
motive of Super Sikh Run and work ahead to help it through”
A

which is introduced as a new race category sponsored by Mediva, a Hero Eco
group company which provides medical rehabilitation and mobility aids. SAHAS
will be like lighting a candle of hope, in honour and in celebration of the
indomitable human spirit. This race will be under 3 categories: Wheelchair:
Prosthetic leg / blade / crutches and visually impaired athletes.
Shivom
