Honda Activa achieves a milestone of 2 crore unit sales in India

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI)  has announced that Honda Activa has now become the highest selling brand by achieving a milestone of 2 Core plus unit sales in the country. The iconic scooter was first launched in the country in the year 2001 and sold over 55000 units in the debut year. Honda Activa became the 1st scooter in India to sell over 1 crore units in the year 2015. The company stated that it took 15 years to achieve the first 1 crore sales, the recent 2nd crore addition has come in just 3 years, which is four times faster than the time taken to acquire the first 1 crore customers.
