Meanwhile, Anthill has
developed a focus on future cities and specifically invests in technologies and
innovations that have a large India and South East Asia market potential,
working closely with the startups to help them scale in these regions.
"As part of our focus on
Future Cities we are excited to partner with Uniti, help them enter and scale
in India and South East Asia. Mobility in future cities will see significant change,
we believe that Uniti can be a significant part of this change" said
Prasad Vanga, Founder and CEO of Anthill Ventures.
The vehicle is developed on a
platform that is optimized for resource efficiency, safety, and manufacturing
scalability. It is optimized for modern cities, and is lightweight to maximize
battery performance. The body and safety features provide uncompromising crash
safety, but by leveraging emerging technologies in the field of computer
vision, deep learning, and vehicle autonomy, Uniti puts a strong focus on crash
avoidance.
Commenting on the tie-up,
Uniti founder and CEO Lewis Horne said “It is clear that India can be a really
strong market for us, and we want to contribute a better driving and living
experience in Indian cities with our products. Of course, this requires strong
partners in the region and Anthill is definitely doing things the right way and
for the right reasons.” Anthill Ventures will be providing Uniti a platform to
explore market opportunities in India and South East Asia.
Prasad Vanga added, “Uniti has
a unique and contemporary approach in providing e-mobility solutions. With our
strong and experienced footprint in the Indian and South East Asian market, we
aim to introduce this affordable smart utility to our community and bring a
change in the way people commute. This partnership will help achieve a
cost-effective and pollution-free solution for mobility.”
