with only 130 units.

units in the country. This sale can be attributed to the Jeep Compass in India. As for exports, 834 units of the Jeep
Compass were shipped out of the Ranjangaon plant.

(cars and utility) was Hyundai Motor
India with 12,551 units, followed by Ford India with 10,851
units, Maruti Suzuki with 10,366
units, General Motors India with 6516
units and Volkswagen India with 6,071 units.
· * In total, 1,750,966 units of two wheelers
(including scooters, motorcycles and mopeds) were sold in the country. Another 221,185
units of two-wheelers were exported.
· * In the two-wheeler space for domestic sales, Hero MotoCorp continued to lead with 621,087 units, followed by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India
with 437,548 units.
· * In the mass market domestic sales, the company
that sold the least two-wheelers in the domestic space was Mahindra Two Wheelers with 2573
units..
· * In the premium segment of two-wheelers, the
highest number in sales was clocked by Harley-Davidson
Motor Company India with 255
units and 184 units by India Kawasaki.
· * The largest
exporter of two-wheelers from India was Bajaj Auto with 114,225
units followed by TVS Motor Company
with 37,992 units.
· * A total of 61,568 units of three-wheelers were
sold in the domestic market with Bajaj Auto leading with 35,657 units, total exports of three-wheelers stood at 30,946 units.
· * In the commercial vehicle space, a total of 69,793 units were sold in the domestic
market while total exports stood at 7,624 units.
· * The largest
seller of commercial vehicles in the domestic
market was Tata Motors at 30,572 units, followed by Mahindra & Mahindra at 19,2791 units. JBM Auto scored a duck while VECV-Volvo
high-end CVs sold 62 units.
· * The largest exporter
of commercial vehicles was Tata Motors with 4133 units, followed by Mahindra
& Mahindra with 1376 units.
· * In the passenger
car segment, Maruti Suzuki
continued to lead in domestic sales
with 99077 units, followed by Hyundai Motor India with 40155 units.
· * In the passenger
car segment, Maruti Suzuki led
in exports with 9584 units, followed by Hyundai
Motor India with 8913 units.
· * In the passenger
utility vehicles segment, the leader in domestic sales was Maruti
Suzuki with 23,382 units, followed
by Mahindra & Mahindra with 22,040 units.

utility vehicles segment, Hyundai
Motor India led in exports with 3,638
units, followed by Ford India with
2,067 units.

CAR FROM TATA MOTORS PLUMMETED TO A LOW OF 57 UNITS IN THE DOMESTIC
MARKET AS COMPARED TO 726 UNITS
IN OCTOBER 2016.

& Scooter India was the clear leader with sales of 293,117 units, followed by TVS Motor Company with 103,020 units.

scooter market, the leader was Honda
Motorcycle & Scooter with 16,317
units followed by India Yamaha
with 4300 units.
· * In the motorcycle
segment, domestic sales leader
was Hero MotoCorp with 540,552 units, followed by Bajaj Auto with 211,553 units.

of motorcycles were led by Bajaj
Auto with 114,225 units,
followed by TVS Motor India with 33,094 units.
