What is your impression
of the IBW 2016?
Frankly speaking, this show is quite impressive. This is
the first time UM is here at the IBW. The overall feeling is quite good.
These UM motorcycles are
going to be manufactured at your plant. Has production started?
The production will start very soon. We are getting our
first batch from our suppliers. We are equipping ourselves in such a manner
that we can start deliveries in May-June 2016.
What’s been the response
to your bikes at the IBW?
We are getting a very fabulous response from the bikers
here. They are seeing something different from the RE, Avenger and from the
other heavy bikes. The UM bike is positioned between a Harley and a RE. They
are very enthusiastic about the product. They foresee this product somewhere
between the Royal Enfield and Harley.
You showed the bikes
even at the Auto Expo 2016- The Motor Show. What was the response of the youth
there?
This bike is undoubtedly targeted at the youth. They are
looking for something new as well as innovative which we are going to provide
at UML. They are very enthusiastic about the bike after seeing them.
On a personal level what
is your choice between the Renegade Command and the Renegade Sport S?
On a personal level, I like the Renegade Sport S.
