Alfa Romeo on their 105th anniversary of the A.L.F.A. has just unveiled the new Giulia at the Alfa Romero Museum in Arese, Italy called “La macchina del tempo”.
In case you aren’t familiar with the iconic name and have now gotten your tongue in a knot, it’s pronounced “Joo-Lee-Ahh” as in Julia. The rear or four wheel driven sedan gets a 510bhp Ferrari derived Quadrifoglio V6 turbocharged engine that get the Giulia from 0-100kmph in 3.9seconds and torque vectoring allows it to handle corners as well with some Aero kits helping along the way.
In terms of styling, there has probably never really been a bad looking Alfa Romeo. And the Giulia is no exception. From the pictures you can see proof its bite the back of your hand pretty. The legendary nose, the sweeping headlights and gorgeous rear end is all so Alfa Italiano styling everything so iconic and gorgeous we are sort of lost for words.
The only problem with the Giulia is that it will never see the light of day in India. It reminds us of an old song that goes “It’s sad, so sad, it’s a sad, sad situation…”. Alfa describes the Giulia with an Italian term 'la meccanica delle emozioni' (the mechanics of emotion), a phrase which they will used to publicise the car globally.
